Flavoxate is a medicine which helps to mitigate a symptom on the bladder such as frequent urination, urgency, painful urination, or bladder spasms. People with an overactive bladder, or people with an irritable bladder can be prescribed it, as it is also an effective treatment to be used in connection with treating urinary tract infections (UTIs) to relieve urinary pain and improve bladder control.
How it works:
Flavoxate relieves the smooth muscles of the urinary tract and the bladder. This will assist in alleviating pain, spasms and soothe the necessity to pass water urgently. Its existence does not help to treat infections determinedly, though it makes the bladder symptoms much more tolerable.
